The Moo-Town Hoedown (started in 2001) is an annual country party that occurs Saturday of Veteran's Day weekend. During the day we play games, eat, drink and pet the animals. At night we party on the dance floor, sing karaoke, have a hay ride & sleep around the bonfire under the stars.

How to dress for Hoedown: It's warm during the day and cold at night. Most people wear a t-shirt and jeans and then change into warmer clothes or put on sweatshirts and jackets as the night progresses.
Everyone is welcome to stay the evening with us and camp out around the bonfire. For our guests that prefer something more private, Monticello has some beautiful bed and breakfasts 5 minutes from the ranch.
What to bring:
- 1) Sleeping bag and pillow
- 2) $10 t-shirt money
- 3) An appetite
- 4) Boots, cowboy hats, bandanas, etc.
- 5) Booze
- 6) Tent - optional
